Cake smash photography sessions are an amazing way to celebrate your babies birthday within my Newcastle-under-Lyme Studio! We will have loads of fun during this photo session with both a cake smash and splash all thrown into one! By the end of the session, you will have some beautiful portraits of your little one having so much fun! What happens during a Cake Smash Photography Session?
Classic Portrait
We will start the session with a beautiful portrait of your little one in their own outfit.
Cake Smash
Now time for the fun, messy part where your little one enjoys getting their lovely squishy fingers smashing up their beautiful yummy cake.
Splash Time
Now time to wash away all that yummy cake, along with bubbles and rubber ducks! Please remember to bring along your fluffy towel and your bubbles.
A completely bespoke session, you get to choose your colour scheme and theme for the cake smash. The outfit and all props are incorporated into your package. Please don’t wear your best clothing, and be prepared to get a little messy yourself!
There are more ways to celebrate your little one's 1st birthday if they are not a cake lover. Healthy fruit smash and milk bath, teddy bears picnic, spaghetti, painting or clean and simple, play balls and toys.
When should you book?
I recommend booking your cake smash session at least 4 weeks in advance, to ensure I have availability and have time to plan your session. A lot of my cake smash sessions book in straight after their newborn session! Sessions are held in my comfy and spacious studio in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire.
Cake Smash Photography Pricing
A £99 non refundable deposit is required to secure your date and session.
The deposit will be deducted from your final order.
Due to the cost of props, custom made scenes will incur an additional cost.

The remaining balance for your chosen collection and products is due at your viewing session.
