Family photoshoots are fun.  Whether you choose to come to my lovely studio or we go to a location of your choice, together we can create beautiful memories that in time you will be able to pass onto your children. What are the best locations for a family shoot in Stoke on Trent?

There are so many great spots dotted around the city I can recommend! Woods and parks are usually the best locations. They offer a simple backdrop that will make you and your family stand out! The trees also offer nice shaded areas which will give you and your family a more flattering look away from the sun. Somewhere that has some importance to your family can also be really special for photoshoots.

Some of my favourite spots in the Stoke on Trent area are Keele Woods, Rudyard Lake, Silverdale Country Park and Queens Gardens in Crewe.

Do you offer studio sessions as well?

I absolutely love studio sessions and they take place in my warm and cosy studio in Newcastle under Lyme.

What should we wear to a family shoot?

I generally suggest getting a little dressed up for a family photo shoot but most importantly something you are all comfortable in. For guys, a collared shirt looks great and for ladies your hair done with some light make up. For children, I recommend avoiding clothing with writing and really bold colours or patterns, plus good fitting clothes.

How much time should we schedule for a family photo shoot?

Family photo shoots usually last between 1 hour. Children tend to get bored and tired after 40 minutes so I usually find the best photos are at the start of the photo shoot. The end of the session I tend to shoot more unposed to capture the candid moments.

Family and Children Photography Pricing

A £99 non refundable booking fee is required to secure your date and session.

The deposit will be deducted from your final order.

If you wish to purchase products or prints only, there is a minimum spend of £299 due to time spent on your session, editing, processing and cost of products.

The remaining balance of your chosen package and products is due at your viewing session.
